Cream Cheese Cupcakes (Drew Werger)
Makes 2 dozen
Preheat oven to 350°
Dough:
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups water
2/3 cup oil
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
Filling:
1 cup (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Line cupcake pans with liners. Mix dough ingredients, fill cakes 2/3 full. Mix filling ingredients. Put 1 Tbsp. filling on top of each cake. Bake 30-35 min. |
